Remote School Portraits

When things look dire, and chaos surrounds you, we tend to look for solutions. Look for a way to help others, to take away some of the worry and make life just a wee bit easier.

Last fall I decided to help out by using the skills that I have to to ease the worry of parents who had remote school age children at home. The beginning of the school year was a bit stressful. As parents we were worried if we did the right thing by keeping them home. Sad that they would be missing so much, but also making sure we kept them and our family safe. Sending our kids into school for pictures… well that was not an option.

I offered to take school portraits for those who were going to school remotely, to take out at least one thing off of our plate of worry. I was so happy for the opportunity to meet some of our local families that I otherwise would have never had the chance to meet if we hadn’t made the choice to go remote.

A huge thank you to those who came over. It was so awesome to meet you and your family!
