Enterprise

The last time I saw a space shuttle in person was at the STS-7 Challenger launch. Sally Ride was aboard as the first US woman sent to space. We were only 3 miles away and it felt as it was only 5 feet away. We visited the Saturn V rocket on display that same day. I was in awe of the massive size and could only imagine how much louder it would have been compared to the launch I just witnessed.

Standing underneath the Enterprise brought back that humbling experience. I felt so small underneath the tiled covered belly.
